The visitors of  Cannes are privileged with gorgeous inlet in the Mediterranean Sea you can walk round the miles of sandy beaches and you can relax in the warm sun. Here majority of the beaches are private and most of these beaches belong to luxury hotels in that place.

Even though Cannes  civic beaches are very attractive and eye-catching but the constrain is that in during summers the place is catched up with unmoving crowd. You’ll find them in the far eastern and western sides of the city.

Islands around Cannes

If beaches are not working for you and want to move from the place then you can try some Cannes nearby islands which are also peaceful and heart stolen places

Among the islands are the “Iles de Lérins” is a little archipelago just off the coast of Cannes and part of the town of Cannes. The archipelago accommodates the small islands of Saint-Honorat and Sainte-Marguerite and the two tiny islands of St-Féréol and Tradelière.

TIle Sainte Marguerite is the biggest island. The island has a big pine and eucalyptus forest. The port, where the ferryboat lands, has cafés, pubs, a disco and restaurants, and it’s a little walk to the Fort Royal where you can visit the cell where the famous Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned.

Ile Saint Honorat is the small island, located about 30 minutes by ferry from Cannes. Although the island is not very big, it offers some pleasant walks and there’s a fantastic Cisterian abbey.
