The city of Cannes is situated in the southern part of France, in the Riviera region and it is sparsely populated region with approximately 70.000 residents residing over there. Cannes is world famous for its Film Festivals and for Cannes Lions Festivals. This luxurious city has tourism as its principal resource.
The city of Cannes is 905 km away from Paris, 164 km from Marseille and 26 km away from Nice. It is beautified place with elegant tourist spots for tourist to visit and feel the graceful environment with locations like, The Boulevard de la Croisette is one of the most important attractions for tourists who love the beach, sun and sand. La Croisette is a 12 km waterfront avenue bordered with palm trees, with many stylish hotels, cafés, shops and restaurants around. The Musée de la Castre is also a good option to visit and to have a look on its remarkable works of art, paintings, sculptures and decorative art. And if you want to lighten up yourself visit the Îles de Lérins (Lérins Islands) with finicky sceneries and beautiful beaches.
When you have walk in the streets of Cannes, it creates a friendly atmosphere in and round you and especially in streets like d’Antibes and Meynardier. You can have a good time at the boutiques. Its restaurants are of good quality with stylish interiors, although the prices are sometimes expensive. Price in turn depends upon restaurants. Restaurant with water fonts are bit expensive compared to the other restaurants.
